India is changing, despite all hurdles and pessimism

I filed a return of Income claiming refund of Taxes of Less than Rs 10000.00. The assessee informed me on next Friday morning that he has received the refund. Yesterday Night at 10.00 P.M. , I made an online application for new PAN. Today, Sunday, at 11.00 A.M, I got an intimation email of my PAN number and digital PAN Card. At 3.00 P.M. I got an SMS saying, the printed PAN Card has been dispatched, even though it was Sunday
I will say, India has changed despite all hurdles, criticism and pessimism being spread by all vested interests and Power Brokers. Let us learn , appreciate and reward good work. more

My experience is that the govt response has improved. To cite an example, my friend purchased a car in NOIDA and paid the registration amount to the dealer on 31 Dec18. On 1st January he got a message from RTO intimating registration number and the RC was available on the department's App. This was simply unimaginable 5 years back. more
