Income tax return

Yes. The people going abroad faces this issue. This need to be solved by government. Previously we used to get form 16 and TDS return from banks maximum by second week of may. I do not understand why it delays since last 3-4 years. Banks should be able to give us returns by first week of may and it should appear on income tax site by maximum of second week of may. more

In this electronic age availability of such documents must be made faster. more  
This all is laxity on part of our privileged Banks, especially PSBs, having No Accountability to Public at large. more  
I too suffered last year on this count. Moreover, the 16A should be sent quarterly. PNB, I find takes time even to make it available after a year. more  
When last date of submission of TDS return is 31 May and it takes 10 days in processing of data received and 7 days thereafter these forms may be release to the public. more  
Generally the nationalized banks are in the habit of issuing the Form 16 very late that too you have to remind them at least thrice. This habit has come to them as they think that their primary duty is to collect and disburse money/FD/Loan etc. The attitude has to change for good. more  
Last date for submission of TDS returns is 31 May and 10 days after filing tds returns result can be seen in Form 26AS or 7 days after that Form 16/16A will be available to public. Just like you check your bank account, please check Form 26AS on department website. more
