Govt of India

Other than big announcments made in New York lat year, what is GOI doing to rope in NRIs, esp the once who moved in 1970-80s to USA and are now at retirement age. Many of them have worked as Doctors, or in Manufacturing/Enggg industry and can play a role in India's growth under Modi. more

It's give back time, that's why I concluded saying .....'so that the rest of the Indians can pride and rejoice in Valuable India like UK or USA' more
I am surprised that some of the people who moved in the 1970s are still NRIs. Modi's govt has given me the hope that someday, returning to India will be an option. If you are asking for opportunities, I would argue that you have experience enough to create your own. more
I think the real factors which made differences for all these people outside India are a sense of equality and Justice, sense of security for their next generation, sense of opportunity irrespective of who his father or uncle is, sense of respect for being another human being irrespective of his caste and religion. It is a very good idea, in nation building, which many have never bothered, But I believe all these NRI's should all stand firm for these values that they left their country for, so that the rest of the Indians can pride and rejoice in Valuable India like UK or USA. more
it is a very constructive approach if GOI utilizes the expertise of indians abroad. Most professionals working abroad are surviving because they are the best. more
