Getting over dog fear
Both me and my daughter are scare of dogs, not just stray dogs any dogs. Any suggestions on how to get over dog fear? We just don't enter friends houses till the dog has been chained. Ok for me but my 6 year old should get over this atleast. more

I agree..I too am a dog lover but the stray dogs here are a total menace. They scare young children, bark at all cars and vehicles and create a total racket at night..what can be done to make some authority take notice of this? more

it is nice to love animals but not at the cost somebodies discomfort. The stray dog menace in our area is acute .they start barking any time in the middle of the night and that is the end of all sleep.i wish the authorities would do something about it more

It could help if you see and show your daughter some very cute videos on dogs and explain that they are very affectionate! If a dog is wagging his/her tail means definitely friendly, but if the tail is straight up or tense then do not approach! If any dog comes near, never run..just casually walk away or stand still and make some reassuring sounds..the dog will attack only if threatened..I find that stray dogs are more scared of humans then the other way round as usually the guards etc throw stones or hit them. more

Mam animals wandering in our society generally do not attack unless provoked. Always try to pass them with a smile n direct eue contact. Its nature's rule if r friendly opposite person or animal will always b freindly. If u will b freightful then opposite person or animals will take opportunity to make u more freightful. Give smile n spread positive in d environment always more

Miss Kukreja Dogs are very affectionate if they know u and handled properly. At d same time the can be dangerous if it is aggressive or wrongly handled. It's nice to know that u want to overcome the fear with them and for that purpose u can take help of someone having dogs of calm nature. The person will take care that do it properly. When dog will love u back then ur fear will fade away. U can feed street dog also and they will die for u. But feed them only where no body comes like at d end of street or secluded place. .... Lots of things u should know if u want to b brave ;). Take help of a experienced pet owner. Love animals but take care.
