Definitely Mr Ramanathan and also to keep Aspirin at home. If not trained in CPR, then never attempt to do it. You may harm inadvertently. These are the basic things which are a must for those who have cardio patients and or family members at home who are prone to such critical ailments. Knowing the first aid is certainly helpful for the patient as well as for the medical team. Because if a family member gets chest pain or stroke then others become panicky and start crying which is not good for the patient. Need to be cool, console the patient that you will get better soon, medical help is on the way, do all the things suggested above and take him/her to the hospital at the earliest. more
