I think this is a good and considerate move by the government and deserves to be appreciated. Timely help for PAN applicants with single parent, who have been finding it tough to apply for PAN as they could not fill in all mandatory fields. more
I agree to mr Prabal biswas keep in view of growing malpractice, to minimise such activities it is necessary. more
All financial matters must have Aadhar and PAN linked. All those who wants to evade taxes are and will oppose it.This is one of the most important reason why we have so low tax base and collection. Another area to improve tax collection is to tax Agriculture income. There are many rich agriculturist who evade taxes and Govt is sleeping on it.My basic question is areas which have enough water supply for all 12 months and if they do minimum 3 crops per year how can they be poor.Atleast they earn more then Rs 21000/- pm.Hence such people must be taxed.Similarly if an individual owns more then 10 acre land,he will definately earn more then Rs 21000/- pm.Hence such people must be taxed. more
The provision for both the father's and mother's name should be there. Otherwise fake PAN cards will again come into being. I had many such examples in my profession . I had to tell someone give me the correct PAN , he had six PAN cards in his name each one of them slightly twisted. AADHAAR linking should remain mandatory. Only "cheats and fraudsters" are scared of AADHAAR. more
