DTDC COURIER SERVIC

I am really sorry to inform you that in spite of my mail to DTDC,GORAKHPUR on Dt. 24-08-2015 and there after several phones on your mobile no. 9369084414 no action was initiated from their side due to which the subject consignment was delivered on 26-08-2015 at about 6 pm though it was booked on 18-08-2015 from Banglore and received at Dtdc,gorakhpur on 22-08-2015 at about 11 am. If delivery of item booked under light express scheme will take 4 days for delivery at same station then what is the use of using your courier service .
As i am habitual to use dtdc courier i am reporting this time because it is not first time ,i am repeatedly facing same problem and 3rd time in last 3 months but now i assure that neither i will avail services of DTDC nor advise to any one for dispatch of documents etc. from DTDC.
Now I request to members of my circle to advise what step should be initiated for this and share your views also. more

I do not understand why these organisation take these lousy and unreliable organisation services when Govt`s. reliable services like speed post is available at very affordable price and this money goes for the nation. more

Dear Mr. Shanker, I advise you to immediately file a consumer complaint in concerned Consumer Forum with all the details of submitting documents and date of receipt it. Promises made by the Company in their advertisements, receipt etc. Keep receipt and other dox safe for enclosing with your complaint. I also suffered similar situation of delay/non delivery of documents and return of undelivered documents after more than 4 months after so many letters and visits to their offices. I filed a complaint in local Consumer Forum at Hyderabad and had to later file an appeal on my transfer of case to Delhi Commission which ordered payment of Rs.25000/- as compensation. DTDC appealed in National Commission but lost there. However, NC reduced compensation to Rs. 22500/- part of which was earlier paid in advance at State Commission level and again at National Commission level. Since I am myself an Advocate I don't spare such irresponsible people. There is not much cost involved since you can yourself prepare simple complaint and even an appeal and appear yourself even upto NC level. My best wishes.
