After GST, there has been cheating by some by charging it over MRP. All of us active members of the mrp localcircles must make it a point to raise an issue when we buy hampers and the hamper mrp is much more than the sum of product mrp inside. many reputed companies tend to do this and with now gst and mrp confusions, it will happen even more this year. lets all stay watchful and not give in to these gimmicks. more

Unless the Govt of India who drafted the GST Scheme also prescribe the GST/CGST Invoice to be presented to the consumer by the seller/retailer and the procedure for collecting the tax/es, the confusion will continue. The impression given by the Govt of India is that they are interested in keeping loopholes for corrupt practices, generating black money and cheating consumers. Here it is clear that the Govt of India has failed in this loudly announced scheme for the benefit of the national economy and pockets of consumers. more

New technique is printing the bills with very light colour and matter will disappear in few weeks. Photo or Photocopy can not be taken as it is very light coloured bill . Even it is complained no evidence will be available to the delayed inquiry. more

While the same is true in case of medicines too, most of the retailers/pharmacists even give 10% discount on MRP. Hence no body should pay any thing extra or any GST over the MRP. If any body is asking for it, please complaint to the appropriate authority with photo copy of bill. more

Even the MRP of reputed brand Gift Hamper is much more. Even traders / companies do not know what is exact position as there are different GST rates on different items of gift hampers. more
