CountryClub a Big Fraud !!! Does anyone care about Consumers anymore ?

It is almost 10 months since i filed complaint and my money worth 1.5 Lacs is stuck. I have not availed even a single benefit from Country Club and the transaction was disputed from very day of payment in April, 2014.
I was lured into taking this membership, cheat Country Club officials were after me for around a year and they were repeatedly offering me lucrative benefits to join Country Club, finally i agreed when i was given a proposal that i will get 12 air ticket vouchers from Clear Trip worth INR 60000, and i paid 1.5 Lacs to them.

Brief of complaint i filed with CORE (Jago Grahak Jago)
1. Cheaters from Country Club took entire money, got agreement signed on April 07, 2014
2. They changed the payment structure on April 22, 2014 to highlight that they have given me discount for full payment and maliciously created 1,70,000 as the offer amount. This way they showed that 25,000 is pending on me, for which I had been asking payment receipt from Day 1. Have shown details to Jago Grahak Jago officials in person. There is clear hand made changes on the copy of agreement.
3. On April,2014 last week, Cheaters changed the paid amount details on the agreement, by cutting the originally filled value.
4. They denied giving all the value adds.

In the wake of all this, I demanded my entire money back. I approached local police authorities but as usual received no support from there, they simply said it is known fact that such holiday offering companies cheat persons and i should have been careful.

Can anyone help me in getting my money back. I am yet to see that ray of hope which was last ignited when a meeting with brand officials was conducted in CORE delhi office, those guys simply smiled, accepted gaps in commitment delivered and said sorry in front of Core offcials and left. I am a middle class person and took this membership so that i can ensure yearly vacations on fun side for my family, and this act of cheating has hit me very hard.

It is my hard earned money and this act of fraud has weaken my faith on the system.

Need public support on the same.

Thanks. more

Even I am a aggrieved member of Country Club and the annual maintenance fee bleeds me. Yet they are all covered by archaic rules and hence nothing much can be done. The only benefit of raising this issue is that we can forewarn anyone planning to join this club, lured by the advertisements. These commercial clubs (including Club Mahindra) are not answerable to members like us and their finances are rarely subject to scrutiny by the revenue authorities. more
The continuance of Mutual fund/Benefit Funds, private Chit funds, individual chit conducting, Farms and Farm house/Country Club etc are really a very sorry affair and tells up on the Government administration, Police administration and our Legal structure which let off the culprits due to very flimsy reasons. The police, though aware of the condition of such fraudulent private banking institutions, allow them to carry on their business without any hindrance and when fraudulence burst, the police try to arrest. This game is going on for more than 5 decades and no law has been passed so far to curb or take sever action on such persons. Even Unit Trust of India which was formed under the Act of Parliament, had suddenly closed its flag Unit scheme called 'US-64' without any notice and many have lost large amount due to the Trust mismanagement and closure of scheme. In another case, the 'Senior Citizen Unit Plan' which provided unit growth as well as Health Insurance for Senior Citizens couple (with tie up with New India Assurance, was suddenly closed by UTI and the members were compelled to switch over to their new scheme entierly under the control of NEW INDIA ASSURANCE CO.LTD which does not give any unit appreciation or any interest for the accumulated balance amount of the individual, nor pay back the amount of accumulation to the individuals, since the original scheme was closed and the new administration has no locus standee to insist to retain the members own balance amount. The new Modi Government should take up the matter and arrange to return the accumulated amount, which runs to several lakhs of rupees, to the concerned members. more
I have also faced the same issue with Bangalore country club. Paid 10000 through credit card didn't take any services. At the time of selling the policy they have promised to give discount on flight tickets if booked through country club department but the reality is not like that. We never got any discount on any of our flight. We fought a lot with country club but all in vain. They are asking us to go their regional office which is Chennai. Being a corporate employee it is not possible to go chennai for court hearing thus we have asked them for withdraw. On this they replied that they would be able to re-sell the policy after 2 years if they find new consumer. I am at still not sure whether they would refund money ever. Please help me and let me know if any one got their money back. If yes guide me also. more
