Corruption and NRIs

I think many NRIs have deep connections with India but little faith that things will work smoothly in India. If somehow PM is able to make corruption go down in India, may more NRIs will parrticipate in India story. Right now most fear loosing money and hence they only put it in real estate in place they belong to. more

Agree....to attract large scale NRIs we need to give a comfort that the corruption is within the acceptable level....currently it is too bad. In respect of real estate Why cannot govt make it mandatory to use the bank transfer and ban the cash payments totally....in western countries solicitors handle the whole transaction on behalf of the vendor/buyer....in India this is still in a mess... more

well things are suddenly brightening up , and , I personally am very supportive of NDA government under Prime Minister Modi . I wish Government takes more initiatives to start interacting with NRIs. more

I don't trust in real estate too...that's all flooded with untrustworthy agents and builders. I have lost hope in investing money in India. more
