Confusing Ads hiding facts.

It is seen in the advertisements (ads) given in social medias as well as in the Online webpage are hiding important facts about the products. Many ads are Misleading ads.The ads must contain cost, gist of salient details about product, true picture of the product, so that consumers get confused whether the product would satisfy their need. They also feel doubt about the quality of the product and whether the the brand is a approved one and feel that the consumers should not be cheated. Thus they shy to buy the products which are found in Social medias and other web pages which are intended for online purchases. The G.O.I must issue necessary orders to save the consumers. more

Now a days every add speaks about the benefit of their product from Corona. Where as it may not have any relevance with Corona at all. Even those who are appearing in adds must be held accountable for its negative things or if it does not stand to its words in adds. Because these people will charge heavy money from advertisers and disappear. Innocent public will use that product because of these famous faces. more
I have stopped buying on-line because there were many instances of supply of sub-standard products, actual product shown in ad was not supplied etc. When complained to the company, there was no reply in many cases. In few cases they acknowledged and promised to followup and supply correct product but there was no further action and subsequent reminders were not replied. Hence I now go to market and buy product of my choice. The shop-keepers are more co-operative in case of any complaint. Why should we spent our hard earned money on cheats? Go to the market and enjoy the outing. more

As individual / family customers, I have a choice what to purchase - tried and tested reliable products and services; or those unknown/ less known through attractive advertisements. We are preferring the former. Regards and best wishes in these trying times. more
