Cheating by Tata Housing

Well known and reputed Builders are cheating the customers. Recently, TataHousing Dev Corporation, a Tata concern, issued an advertisement that if you apply for a flat in any of their locations on 13 th July 2015 to 15th July 2015, one additional room will be provided at no extra cost. I asked them to confirm and they sent mail to me officially confirming the offer. I applied and paid the initial registration amount and 20% of the cost of the flat. Now they are saying we can not provide additional room but only small discount against additional room, which they claim to have already provided.
Kindly advise what I should do. Should I go to consumer Forum. The flat is in Ahmedabad and I live in Mumbai. The head Office of Tata Housing is in Mumbai. more

Its really a black spot on prestigious TATA brand. If you have all papers complete which shows their confirmation of offer then do go in consumer court. It has nothing to do whether you are at Mumbai or Ahmedabad. If they are at fault they must pay for it. more
Just talk to the builder and withdraw your booking or show this local circle's link to him that already 2700 ppl. are talking about Tata company's fraud and it is ruining his name. more
It is really a cheating case by Tata. Consumer Guidance society must take action against such nefarious activities by Tata Housing. such incidences must be published in leading news papers. more
