Change of Date of Birth in PAN Card of HUF

I was issued HUF PAN Card in the year 2001. However due to an oversight at IT Deptt, year of birth of HUF was mentioned as year1901, which is obviouly wrong.
However for correction in date of birth, I have to submit a documentary evidence. I donot have any document about formation of HUF in 1901. Pl guide how to get PAN card corrected. more

In case of HUF (Hindu undivided Family), A person create an HUF when he became father. The date of birth of first child is the date of creation of HUF. submit the affidavit and proof of date of birth of First child. more
If u have any other proof ,OK. If not then keep other circumstantial evidences with u for formation of HUF .SIMILAR IS MY CASE .I IN THE MEANTIME SUBMITTED AN AFFIDAVIT MENTIONING THE DATE . No further reply came . Actually , HUF IS FORMED BY WAY OF MARRIAGE OR SOMETIMES BY OTHER ACTS IN FAMILY .IT IS MOREOVER THE SOFTWARE WHICH DOES NOT WORKS ON SUBMISSION OF PAPERS / Affidavits as no application of mind in online application made by IT authorities .The problem is there . To the best of my knowledge, there is no system of any corrections in the PAN card of IT Dept. even if the mistake is committed by them only. However, it can be surrendered with a suitable letter n apply for issue of a fresh PAN Card together with the necessary fee. However, u may pl try if entertained. Otherwise, better go to the office, well prepared with all the documents for surrender n a fresh application. more
thank u Rajoriaji. pl send me format of affidavit , if available with u more
AT PRESENT FOR HUF PAN APPLICATION A NOTARISED AFFIDAVIT IS REQUIRE.IN YOUR CASE I THINK THAT AFFIDAVIT MAY WORK FOR CORRECTION IN FORMATION YEAR. more
