Bank ATMs
I have been watching working of ATMs since 9th Nov i.e. after demonetisation.
There are 7-8 ATMs near my residence in Malviya nagar,Jaipur. Since last 24 days I am watching all the ATMs. Barring 1-2ATMs no cash is available in these ATM since then. Ok no problem. Bank are helpless. But I found that all ATM are open throughout the night and day.No notice is pasted that cash is not available.
Now poor consumer stop his vehicle ,visit the ATM (seeing that it is open) & after finding no cash he becomes disappointed. is it not "Jale pe namak chidakna".
Also is it not watage of nation resouces, as whole night electricity is wasted. Cannot bank either down the shutter of such ATMs , till the cash is received or paste a notice/board of no cash.
Bank should be thinking in this direction for better service. more

Dealing in cash is not costless. Fiest there is a question of keeping security against robbery. For business there is a cost of counting and accounting. The cashier gets charged for any shortfall. Electronically, you get the figure throughout the day. Then there is the cost of handling, depositing in bank, etc. There is the cost of transporting to and from the bank. A number of stores in the UK, encourage you to get cash from the till at the time of settling the bill. more

1)Modi Govt.please stop printing any more notes if you want to make India Digital. 45 DAYS ARE very peaceful days , most of the farmers are holding BPL Cards. 2) By monetisations again loot -khasoot, terrorism & Pappoo /Kajruu politics will be started. 3) Modi Jee, please if you need BJP -Winners so stop currency printing if you require to help us force Banks to issue us a credit cards instead of the printing currency. more

What is cost of cash less transactions? This cost is multiple times the cost of printing new notes. Without proper analysis going for cash less transaction may be suicidal for the nation. It should not be forced on people but may be used by individuals based on their need and convenience. Government should only act as a facilitator in providing the system and the infrastructure and should get out of the work of propagating cashless system. Let this propagation be done by the companies which are going to be financially benefited. more

If we expect same quantum of physical cash to circulate in the system, then the whole exercise and pains that we have faced will go waste. It will be successful only if we shift from cash to cashless and secondly if we withdraw only as per our need and not withdraw more than requirements and keep at home which earns nothing. Money in Bank earns interest on daily balances. Proper investigation should be made of all suspicious accounts and transactions. The balances in such accounts should become the government property. more
