RERA is a beginning to rein in unscrupulous real estate dealers may not find favor with many. The moot question is how the how the home buyer benefits. Strict implementation will chastise errant builders and enforce transparency. Present home buyers are in a hurry to acquire property but have little patience in information search that makes them easy preys. I would like to know from the knowledgeable citizens whether Real Estate Regulation Act ensures the optimum cost of housing to customers who need a house to live besides protection against delay by the Developer. The contracts/agreements if found one sided and the rights of buyers are not appropriately addressed how the Act will help the Buyers. more
