• The city is located on the upcoming Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and hence is very well connected to nearby cities by good road and rail routes. The Vadodara Airport will soon have an international terminal and travelling within the country and even overseas will become very convenient.

COIMBATORE, TAMIL NADU

KOCHI, KERALA

Salem in Tamilnadu is a beautiful city surrounded by mountains. Winter and summer are equally good here. Yercaud, which is nearby is a hill station where the weather is fine and number of sight seeing places.
Salem has wide connectivity to all the big cities in India through railways and a small airport is also available here. Best place for settling after retirement and the cost of living here is not much when compared to other cities in Tamilnadu.

Being in Bangalore for last 11+ years in various localities Banasankari / Bhannerghatta Road, Electronic City, HSR Layout, Outer Ring Road, Koramangala and Whitefield - I have been haunted by traffic, poor infrastructure, pathetic road conditions I will not vote for Bangalore for retiring. (Even though I agree Bangalore can boast a lot of other positive things until infrastructure is improved they will be nullified). more  
What about Panjim (Goa) and Bangalore (Karnataka) more  
Visakhapatnam is a city endowed with natural advantages of having a sea port besides all other facilities that are required for a comfortable living . more
