You have not given any details of premium, illness and claims during recent past nor the problems of continuing with OIC. Since the time left is quite small to explore, my opinion is that you get this policy renewed this year, if Star Health or others health insurance companies are not able to provide you better options as per your needs. Some or other painfulness is always visible/felt in all health policies and no health policy is perfect for all people. Next year you can also think of porting this policy to some other health insurance companies minimum 45 days prior to 11 May, 2016, so that there can be some coverage of existing diseases. more
