Big Basket needs urgent LM correction
There is this grocery ecommerce app/site called the Big Basket.
In the 4-5 orders we placed so far, we noticed a couple of times that the quantity and grammage shown when ordering wasnt then one that was delivered when the shipment arrived. We thought we didnt look properly when ordering.
Today we found the discrepency. Apparently whats been happening is a bigger size/weight is displayed and what comes is smaller size.
Ordered Ragu pasta sauce displayed to be 680 gms. What arrived is 397 gms bottles. Quantities also wrong. Big Basket needs to fix such practices or they might loose customer trust. Legal Metrology officials must audit too. more

I would like to mention another practice of Big Basket which is unethical. All the discounted amounts in your order are not immediately reduced from the total order amount but credited to your wallet on the Big basket site. This practice ensures you will order again from Big Basket to use the money in the wallet. They will again give you some discount in the wallet with your next order. And the cycle continues as this practice ensures that the customer keeps on returning to Big basket to utilize the credit in the wallet. more

CASH BACK AND 'CREDITS TO WALLETS' ARE BIG FRAUDS ON THE CUSTOMER. TODAY'S BUSY BEE COUPLES HAVE NO TIME AND PATIENCE TO CHECK THESE MINUTE DETAILS IN THE CASH MEMO AND E GROCERS LIKE BIG BASKET ETC HAVE TAKEN BIG ADVANTAGE OF SUCH 'BLIND TRUST' THE CAT COMES OUT OF THE BAG ONLY SOME ELDER IN THE FAMILY GOES INTO THE DETAILS OF THE CASH MEMO...!!.. more

We should boycott materials to be purchased from Big Basket. It also must be ensured that they are punished for this act of cheating. more

WHO WILL PUNSIH..??.. THE BOYCOT SHOULD TAKE PLACE AS A MASS MOVEMENT WHICH DOES NOT HAPPEN SO EASILY....AND - GOVT DOES NOT HAVE ANY 'ENFORCEMENT AGENCY' TO PROTECT THE CITIZENS FROM BEING TAKEN FOR A RIDE BY THESE E COMMERCE AGENCIES..!!..SAD.. more

Mr. Taparia, it would serve the purpose if you posted this to Mr. Shahrukh Khan who endorses Big Basket. He may even be jailed for recommending such a second rated enterprise. more
