Hiding behind their policies and a set of incomprehensible rules and regulations, MAX BUPA HI is cheating their distressed customers. Giving an example, a claim filed by my ailing cousin was rejected on the pretext that "she has been suffering with the illness (arthritis) since childhood whereas the childhood incident had occurred almost 27 yrs back, with no signs of recurrence. The claim was rejected based on a mere mention of the history in her claim report, which, if she wanted, she could have hidden. My opinion is that such health insurance companies shouldn't be allowed to foster, and if they do, people should be aware of their fraudulent practices.
Sincere request to IRDA to block operations of such fraud insurance companies.
