We are facing outages since 1991. Sometime during 2012 the situation improved but since the last four years it has become pathetic, especially during the summer months and the monsoon season. I live in Sahney Sujan Park and the line goes towards Kondhwa. It is a nightmare. Also the tariff has increased since this month and with this kind of service it is not at all desirable.
As everybody said correctly, electricity charges are very high. On the contrary service is very poor. Needs drastic improvement in billing. Still customer has to pay extra convenience charge if bill amount is more than 500 and he opts to pay through card. With such high unit rates obviously the bill is more than 500. Bills hardcopies are always delayed.
(1) Very High Tarrif. (2) Additional deposit bills cannot be paid online & it's an invitation to Covid19, when they make people to come to the office & pay. (3) Cheque & Cash of exact amount as on bill is not accepted, but they demand ROUNDED amounts (4) No concessions during lock down
