Anti india slogans raised and listened clearly now only investigation that who have raised is to be find out by law & order authorities and court only not by media channels or individual opinion makers. As now everyone those who are supporting the suspects are giving judgmental opinion.I don't think that the practice of judgment which supporters of anti india slogan raisers wants is acceptable to any group of society that judgment should be given through media channel debates/ public protests/on the basis of cast /majority public opinion/journalists opinion etc.rather it should be on the basis of facts & proofs submitted to court of law. more
Some quotes from today's(23.02.2016) HT daily from page 2: "BASSI STATEMENT SHOCKING" New Delhi: Turning the principles of law on its head, Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi on Monday asked the accused JNU students to prove their innocence. The controversial statement by commissioner created a storm not just among students and teachers but also among legal fraternity. "It is always the duty of the prosecution to prove the accused guilty. I have never seen the police ask the accused to prove their innocence. This is shocking statement to come from the commissioner of police", said KTS Tulsi, a senior SC lawyer. His comments also drew an incredulous and sharp reaction on social media. " I thought the law was that one was innocent until proved guilty. Mr Bassi must have a customized law book," tweeted Animesh Chanchani. POLICE CASE MAY SUFFER SETBACK AFTER JOURNALIST'S CLAIMS New Delhi: Allegations made by a Zee News journalist that the video footage, on the basis of which sedition case was filed against JNU students union president Kanhaiya Kumar, did not clearly show students shouting ant-India slogans may weaken the police's case. Vishwa Deepak, an output producer with the channel, resigned on Sunday, saying he was unhappy with the channel's coverage of Arvind Kejriwal government, JNU case and the controversy surrounding the intolerance row among other issues. ..........contd KANHAIYA "SEDITON" CASE FALLS IF DOCTORED TAPE AIRED, SAY LEGAL EXPERTS. Dear Umessh Kumar, Sir, for your kind information the whole world has come 2 know by now that Umar Khalid dnt have a passport 2 travel abroad, as claimed by Khalid in almost all TV channels, and also numerous calls made from his phone are false as claimed by DP. Raising anti Indian slogans cannot be tolerated at any cost. But is it that now, 1.277 billion population of India has to take patriot certificates from RSS/BJP/ABVP/Baajrang Dal? Where this "DESH BHAKTI" disappears/turning a blind eye on pro Pakistani slogans/hoisting Pak flags in Kashmir. Embracing PDP to form coalition government, when PDP glorifies Afzal Guru as martyr , why this double standard? more
