Stadium Naming

Terrible idea to name Motera Stadium after PM Modi. Congress set an awful practice of naming stadiuma, universities, airports, roads & even planetariums after Indira, Rajiv, Sanjay & Nehru. For PM Modi to allow his name to be used for a cricket stadium is plain wrong. Whats the difference now? more

With all said and done, I feel the P.M. should not have allowed the stadium to be named after his name, at least as long as he is in power. There is no dearth of sycophants in the country who would like to name hospitals or educational institutions or such establishments in the name of persons in power and then exploit that for their vested interest. more
Ms Ruchika does not seem to know that the Stadium under reference is not constructed by Central Govt or State Govt. It is constructed by the Cricket Association with their own funds. If I construct a stadium or anytig ese and name it as 'RUCHIKA BHAWAN", what is the problem? more
Agree that public funded projects should not be named after politicians or religious entities. We have a rich past and can find ample names for them. more
In last 6 years nobody has come out with any corruption charges against Modiji ,by virtue of which All opposition parties and Political leaders are lossing their ground. Hence all these are opposing every good deeds of Modi Govt by misguiding people by propagating lies and even funding miscreants to destabilize Country ,best examples are CAA & Kisan bills. Propaganda of Motera Stadium is done by those who's party history is full of misdeeds. Their leaders on post proposed themselves for Bharat Ratna and above all maximum Awards, Buildings ,Auditoriums,Stadiums,Govt Schemes,Roads , Bridges etc etc are in their names. more
