Working of political parties in Delhi - BJP / CONGRESS / AAP

No one - be it BJP, Congress or AAP - wants to work. They all want to be in lime light without any work.

We, the residents of I Block, Lajpat Nagar -2, are strong and devoted followers of AAP and Kejriwal Ji and same canbe evident from the poll results of this block.

We have been facing lot of problems in this area and in this connection we organised a visit of Shri Dhir Sahib ji to our area on 15th June 2014 (sunday), where he met RWA officials as well as general public who have briefed them about the problems being faced by them on day to day basis. Dhir Sahib has seen the ground realities / difficulties, himself.

To our follow up, we made letters and submitted the same to Shri Dhri Sahib on 19.06.2014 All letters were given to him by hand. When nothing happend, for a month, we again visited him on 13.07.2014 at his office in Jangpura. Mr. Dhir is assuring us to sort out the problems, but nothing has happened so far.

You all will be surprised that it is very small and petty jobs, like removal of encroachments from public land from the hands of building material mafia, repairing of back lanes, maintenance of street lights etc etc. where NO FUNDS are required. I sent a mail at aapdelhi41@gmail.com, regret NO PROGRESS. more

AAP LEADER SHOULD GIVE ANSWER more
call MLA IN PUBLIC AND TELL HIM WHAT IS REASON WORK IS PENDING.HE ATLEAST TELL THE VALID REASON more
Similarly BJP MLA Shri Anil Kumar Sharma had been approached for removal of encroachment in front of Nanakpura Gurudwara to make the road easy for residents of Nanakpura. But he look vote bank and instead of trying to remove the illegal encroachment, feel supporter of culprits in the form of encroachment. Thus the weight of votes of encroachers is higher then the common residents of Nankpura being a Govt employee's colony of CPWD. more
Only option is to use MLA funds or to pool our resources at least for the maintenance works. more
Since none of the departments is with AAP, we are not getting cooperation from any agency. Let us resolve to strengthen Aam Aadmi Party to have our voice heard and speedy resolution of our grievances. For removal of encroachments, following procedure is required: Overseer shall prepare a consolidated statement in the prescribed form and also prepare a rough plan showing disposition of camps of squatters with other necessary details and send it to Enforcement Section for formulating necessary proposals for the eviction of squatter in consultation with other concerned agencies such as Delhi Administration, Delhi Development Authority, Delhi Municipal Corporation and New Delhi Municipal Committee. Apart from the half yearly survey, squatting on Government land may come to notice either through intimation given by any party or through routine inspection of an area. The Overseer shall then immediately carry out a detailed inspection of the squatted area, fill in the Inspection Report in the specified format and send it to the Enforcement Section. On receipt of Overseer’s Report the Enforcement Section shall obtain orders as to whether the encroachment be removed straight-away with the help of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Mobile Demolition Squad) or proceedings under Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act be initiated. If it is decided to remove the encroachment straight-away the Deputy Superintendent of Police shall be addressed. Where, however, there is squatting also in adjacent land belonging to any one of the agencies mentioned above, the Delhi Administration shall be requested to arrange a joint demolition operation in the area. After the issue of the letter to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (D), the Overseer shall contact the former’s office and fix the date for carrying out demolition of structures etc., in consultation with other agencies involved, if any. For joint operation the time and date of demolition shall be fixed by Delhi Administration. The Overseer concerned shall attend the operation in both the cases. After the unauthorised encroachment is removed, the Overseer shall report this fact to the Superintendent of Enforcement Section. Maintenance of Street Lights and repair of back lanes is the responsibility of MCD. more
