Women Safety in the city
Can we discuss what needs to be done and come up with a 5-6 point action plan that Government can implement and make it safer for Women in Delhi. Would like to hear views from both Men and Women. more

Dear Ruchika, agree with your idea. Thanks for raising it. Lets collect suggestions and then maybe you can shortlist the final asks. My suggestions are as follows : 1. Proper street lights in ALL areas. Why should any stretch be dark / potential for all crimes 2. Plan for more deployment of police personnel, esp. women police 3. Fast track channel of complaint processing & resolution for crimes against women Kindly discuss and work towards preparing a plan.... Thanks again. more

Can we do something TODAY. It is painful to read about the plight of a 51 year old in a foreign country subjected to this. Put ourselves/our family member in her shoes, extremely horrifying. more

It is a real shame to see this Ruchika and Akhilesh. Circle Members: Can we come together to come up with a solid action plan and work with AAP to implement it. Otherwise it will be same old story. Rapes happened, Shiela Dikshi said - Police is not under me. Same thing we will hear from Arvind Kejriwal and Rakhi Birla. more

Today only news of danish women gang raped in heart of Delhi is flashing on all channels.I believe we need to do drive like polio drive where people must be told to be respectful to women and consequences if they are not, fast tracking such cases and keeping DNA record of crminals will help, as most offenders are repeat offenders. more
