Why Varanasi?
In view of the changed political equation about Varansi seat, let us not over estimate the situation by wishful thinking and should take calculated amount of risk. Being dedicated supporter of AAP, I have following reservation.
Modi has very cleverly silenced his critics by opting for out of Gujarat but equally safe Varansi seat. He also has plan B by filing nomination from Vadodra.
All major parties i.e. SP/BSP/Cong in UP are fielding their own candidates resulting in division of anti BJP voters and neutral voters. All these parties have cast and community based vote bank.
Third most important factor is that Varansi people seems to be more concerned with local development of roads, parks type of public amenities than real national issues like corruption, castism, crony capitalism etc. They may think that Modi will be in a better position to develop Varansi, being at the top position in the Government.
Objective of AAP is to make others feel its presence in LS by winning as many seats as possible. AAP can raise voice to prevent Govt. from any corruption oriented decision in LS only when it has sufficient seats making it difficult for Govt. to ignore.
To achieve above target, will it not be advisable for Kejriwal to fight and win from some other seat? I am sure that he is bound to win from any other seat by big margin. We need him in parliament take our anti corruption revolution further.

Mr. Prqaveen, Negative attitude people always resist change. Change in the system is the need of the hour. Some people think that if we pay bribe, we will get our work done. If everyone adopt this policy, you may understand that those who paid maximum will only get chance to win. So fight against corruption. So I request you to change your mind set and dream a correction free India. more

Mr Pravin why you are wasting your time here go and support Modi and attend rallies.Modi is a symbol of corruption.Using unaccounted money,planes and helicopters of Ambani and big posters/stages,media sold out,paid crowd (Mr Pravin go to rallies and ask persons how they have come and how much money they get.) more

Mr Pravin Sinha, since you are so angry with AK, why not quit this forum ? Anyway, being a Govt. employee, you are not supposed to take part in politics. Maybe your office needs to increase your workload. more
