Excellent report by LocalCircles on sleep which is all over media.

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/sleep-disruptions-survey

There should be another detailed aspect that LocalCircles should do which is in what causes sleep anxiety in people. I know wash room disruption is covered.

What i am referring to though is anxiety which leads to sleeplessness or waking up. Issues are like, child school, finances, job or work stress, household matters, lack of job.

This will throw light on what exactly are top drivers. more

Sleep disorder is more prevlent in Senior Citizens specially. As most of the time they do not have much work to do and a good part of sleep is done during day time and this is not counted. more
Sleep interruption because of the need to use Washroom, need not be counted as reduction in sleeping hours, if the persom can sleep i,,ediately thereafter. more
We are trying to discover happiness with growing materialistic world and leaving natural rules aside. Most common is TV and mobile phone are being used without any pause. These two screens are feeding many things in our mind without ones need. Consequently, we sleep less and getup without refreshing. more
Useful data. Sleep interruptions is common with elder citizens, those consuming alcohol for a R.R. break. Some are lucky when they come back sleep immediately. Yet not all. Their thought process takes over for the next 2 hours. If they get sleep after that they get up late missing the early morning duties and try to rush up causing immense stress. There are people who are not able to sleep after the interruption get up start their work, preparing for lectures, replying e mails etc. till the yawn, Then have a refreshing sleep. We can adopt that as a strategey. more
Stress n aging attract sleeplessness. more
