Why Delhi state assembly in state of suspension?

Why the Delhi State Assembly has been suspended instead of dissolution as recommended by outgoing CM. The only issue I perceive is that Centre still must be trying and anticipating some defections so that old tradition of defection based politics still remain in existence or there is a backdoor arrangement to share the power. The formation of 'AAP' govt. was a threat to all those corrupt rooted community. It is very clear that no party on its own can form govt. The only solution is to promote defection.
The re-election to the Delhi assembly was not announced by the Central govt. was based on the contention that the re-election process would cause the burden of huge expenditure. Since the election for central govt is already on cards, the expenditure for re-election to the Delhi assembly would have been much reduced and in fact may be insignificant. If the Delhi assembly is not put to the re-election along with Parliament elections and elections are held separately after the elections to the Parliament, it would involve a huge expenditure and will be a burden on the exchequer.

So keeping Delhi assembly in a state of suspension is a futile exercise and with a malafide intention. In fact it seems that the Congress and BJP are afraid that the 'AAP' is likely to comeback with thumping majority and is therefore in the best interest of both the parties to have collusion and jointly ensure that the 'AAP' does not come back to power. more

Seems to be a very fair analysis. I agree. Some AAP MLA's may targeted and made to defect ? On Sun, Feb 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM, S K Virmani wrote: > more
Congress wouldn't like election ,they know their nos i.e. 8 and if reelection happens their nos. would reduce to 0 and AAP would go 50+.....This is certainly very unpleasant situation for congress. More interestingly they are again repeating the same mistake as LYING to the people saying that this is unconstitutional etc............... People are also repeating it again by saying again that "Ye Cholbe Na"..........Ab nahi chalega.............. Very surprising that all these politicians believe Aam Aadmi a fool. Long Live Kesriwal , salute to a very daring ,honest man Kesriwal. more
that is called today's politics, where some few people want to work for benefits of own self. They are not bother about all people of the country. AAP want to make one system, one management which can work for all people benefits, while politics do not want this. Other want to work to give benefits to only some particular group of people. This is very true as some days ago I was reading some survey report where it was told only few people approx. 80-85 people of this world wealth= half population of this world wealth, if it is true of the survey report then really amazing. Every one in this world knows very well that one day we have to go from this world and can not able to take along with any thing but still they desire to keep so much wealth. Really this is one kind of disease which is more dangerous than cancer and Aids which is effecting more than half population. I think our scientists and doctors must work on this disease. more
