Why a Majority is required in state elections ?

A Majority in state legislative elections should not be nessasary as it damages the interest of the common man Aam Aadmi, as we become dependant on the party and not on the representative chosen to do his duty.
The state is burdened by re-elections .
It does not effect the stability , unity of the country in any manner.
It makes it difficult for the deserving candidate to contest election as he may not have the support of any party and cannot afford the advertisment the party can do.
The people are not left with any choice but to elect a person from a party so as to avoid re-elections.
Hope that this change in our constitution can be made so as to benefit the common man. more

Dear Dr.Bijendra Singh Ji,Sir, Parlimentary democracy does not mean we have to depend on the parties all individuals voted should be able to collectively look after our country by debating and voting among themself. We have a very good and fair voting system in our country but our constitution forces us to vote for a party in the name of stability. Which is Wrong.Hope this will someday change. more
DearMathur Ji, If we have adopted parliamentary democracy, we have to follow the majority system. Your views are good and if some one wants to incl these views in parliamentary sys then in my opinion there should be no elections for Lok Sabha. Because only President can control the nation as well as states through service cadre without politicians. more
Mr. R Venkatesh Govind , Sir , it will not be so in fact the MLA's will be doing there best for the people .When we have a majoritarian system we are creating a force against us against who we cannot fight , remove for five years and which will be substituted only by another person of another party however corrupt he may be. more
Subramanam has threatend to kill Kejriwal on sting on Dagar BJP MLA , offering money & post. Pl refer his comments on News 24 , time between 7 pm to 7.15. Langauged ," kejriwal ko jinda nehi rehnedege" . I request to pl file a FIR immediately. more
As things stand, our great parliamentarians do not take any citizen friendly decisions due to immense personal agenda focus. If we do not have a majoritarian system, 100% of parliament/assembly time will be spent only in fighting.
