Water Requirement for an individual ?

Water Requirement for an individual ?
According to demand set coefficient, each individual in good area need 200 to 250 litres of potable water
One family constitutes of 5 members on an average
Requirement of one family 250*5=1250 litres each day
Monthly requirement= 1250*30=37500 litres
In case, one meter delivers water for more than 5 members, quantity shall augment to higher value
Quantity allowed 20000 litres is on lower end
This means that those allowed discount price may not avail benefit
This quantity cannot be delivered to non piped areas
Non pipe areas should be delivered as much as possible more

Action should be initiated to ensure that the subsidy is reached to the people who are targetted for that. So action to lay the pipe line need to be expedited to deliver the subsidy ( as promised ) in poll manifasto. more
On another subject i have to say that I myself worked in Govt. and the salary we get is more than sufficient to live comfortably without taking bribe. Bribe money is spent mostly on drinks and enjoyment and it is not spent on family. There should be a separate cell in each department where we can anonymously (without disclosing our identity) complain by email or phone about corrupt officials, agents, bribe givers. This cell should be manned by honest and helpful officials (Each department has a few such officials and everybody knows about them). Each complaint should be investigated and severe action should be taken. I have some ideas on public transport and women's safety in buses. At present conductors/drivers are not bothered if women's seats are occupied by males and women are harassed in other ways. This should change and conductors and drivers should be made more responsible to ask people to vacate women's seats. If checking staff finds men sitting on women's seats, they should fine the male passenger and conductor and driver minimum Rs. 100 each. This should be written boldly in prominent places in buses and bus stops and given wide publicity. more
We must stop wastage of water from leaking pipes, overflowing tanks and tankers. There should be a dedicated phone and email where we can report (without disclosing our identity) water wastage from leaking pipes on roads, parks and colonies (washing cars with hose pipes, instead of bucket and cloth, washing courtyards with hose, instead of Pocha, watering plants with hose pipe, instead of bucket and mug and other such misuses) and prompt action should be taken (like fine of Rs.1000) against such people. This will save enough water to supply to water shortage areas. more
I think 20000litres is enough. We have to conserve water. more
lets put the facts straight... normally One needs to drink only 12 glasses of water of day add this much water for cooking this means a person needs about 6 to 8 litres of potable water rest water is needed for washing bathing etc. There are lot of people who donot get water at all they toil to get potable water.. .let water be provided first to all..... those who waste water need to pay. more
