VVIP Culture

Watching the various comments on this forum regards the VVIP Culture brings me some amusement.

Rather then responding to any of these post or their comments, allow me to ask anyone:

- Did BJP start the VIP Culture?
- Did BJP encourage anyone to use VIP Culture?
- Did any BJP MP/MLA hold up any plane or train due to their late arrival?
- If any, there shud be an attempt at healthy discussions to do away with VIP Culture if the same found to be a problem to citizens.

Times Now Channel does not seem to have any work these days. There is no scam happening, no corruption happening, borders r silent, economy is on track, India is winning at World Cup, Railway Budget was Super Budget, so was the Annual Budget.

All of these which will give Arnab Goswami enough opportunity to scream and rant.

So, how does he pass his time???

By borrowing a program from another Channel about VIP Culture. NDTV is running 5min slots between programs on bad effects of VIP Cultures, since past 6mnths. And, they r being careful not to take any names, or blame anyone. The message is for the public and people in power alike. Very nice 5min slots. So, Arnab Goswami tells himself, if NDTV can do it, I can do it better. He copies the same program and directly blames BJP for it.

Today Times of India has run a graph on how Business houses benefited on Budget Day with respect to their Stock Market values. Just to make a subtle point that, BJP govt's budget is pro-rich. Which Im sure will be discussed in length on News Hour tonight. Though, this is common that stock markets rally after each budget is tabled. To TOI's bad luck, Adani's stocks showed coming down, and loss which they made on Budget Day.

Other day media came out about Gadkari's trip to Ruia's yacht. It was good that Gadkari admitted to it. Otherwise it wud have been hell for leather. No mention about quiet a bit of Congress as well as Media personalities names in that list.

If nothing he will cry about 'fringe' people which he labels RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal etc, due to some statement passed. I wonder, if they r really 'fringe', why does he deem it important to delve into a 30min slug fest, earning crores for his company and hismelf thro sponsorship for the NEWS HOUR DEBATE. By definition 'fringe' shud be ignored, and not to be taken serious.

I was told by a visiting Industrialist friend of mine from Delhi, that Arnab is really paid in crores.

Does anybody care to ask him, from where does his channel/media house get that much money to pay him an insane amount, to actually commit treason against the country? By trying to defame an honest and committed government, elected legally by the people.

Did anyone ask him, how much money his Media Group has made on Budget Day at the Stock Market? Since Times Group too is listed.

All that money his media house gets is thro Corporate sponsorship's, for programs such as his insane Newshour Debates.

Arnab Goswami's case is an ideal case of Corporate Hypocrisy and favoritism.

The Irony being, he is favoring Secular Parties by indulging in BJP bashing, day in and day out. While he himself carries out 'Holier then Thou' programs on VIP Favoritism.

If this isnt Hypocrisy, what is??? more

BJP &Modi Govt is trying to do better things than previous Govt. This Govt is bringing all the citizens of India to form Local Circles which give their opinions/suggestions to Govt for proper action and implementation. This is a good change .Involvement of people from all parts of India in Govt for the various issues has been initiated and encouraged more numbers for active participation by Modi Govt. G.K.Naidu, Hyderabad more
When I read about ravings and rantings of politicians about how the budget has benefited the business houses, I am reminded of Indira Gandhi's era when she would similarly rant in public meetings about how Tatas and Birlas (those were the only two big business houses at that time) have driven India to poverty. Aren't industries a part of our society and economy. Aren't industries providing more gainful employment than agriculture? Haven't industries added more to the economic growth of India? A budget doesn't become anti-poor merely because it benefits the businesses and industries. I can understand a boorish CM like Siddaramaiah talking like that. But, when a well educated and knowledgeable person like Arnab Goswami talks like that he is being rank hypocrite. I suspect that amongst media personnel, India must have quite a big stock of people who work for other countries hostile to India with anti-Indian agenda. more
Mr Surya Rao one thing startles me ,if you remember this Arnav Goswami was speaking in favor of Modi and BJP and was actually all praise for them in the beginning of 2014, just before and after the General elections. But at that time ,you never said ,why he was supporting out-rightly BJP highly inconveniencing Rahul Gandhi in his interviews?Several others channels are blindly and at times shamelessly promoting and supporting BJP govt for all wrong and exaggerated reasons. This is democracy .Leave some space for alternate and just opinions. Why the hell whole BJP Govt is hell scared of Arnab Goswami? Is he really presenting some uncomfortable truth that some of their propagandists find difficult to counter? more
Mr Surya Rao Please see the Video posted by Hina Manerikar in this column showing, how the Prime Minister of a developed ,rich and civilised democracy travels, in standing ,with ordinary public in a Metro or London Tube without even asking or requesting for a sit.you can also show it to your VVIP politicians ,if at all any shame is left in them. more
I do not agree with Mr. Bhardwaj that VIP privileges are necessary for them to function. Let us take the example of security provided to them paid for by the tax payers. If they are so scared of being killed they should not enter politics. They get paid an enormous amount in terms of hidden perks. They can pay for their own security if they want to flaunt their status. The British PM can travel by local metro to save time and that too without security. See this picture http://freedomfirst.in/issue/articles.aspx?id=8015 And Mr. Surya Rao, BJP may not have started the VIP culture but they are not doing enough to discourage it either. Even VIP quota in railways is a part of this culture. It is the whole attitude that is important rather than specific things you raised. Once they are elected they start thinking that they are a different species and everyone should now bow to them. more
