Vulgar and objectionable ads and movie scenes
I dont know how others fewel about it however, I feel ashamed, cheated and weired when I look todays Movies and even Ads now a days. As a consumer I strongly feel that companies have demeaned and degraded themselves so much that they even don't know that those movies/ads are seen by youths, teenagers and even kids. I feel so embarassed that I always keep the remote with me so I coild change the channel when such ads are playing .
I wonder, what are censor board and other broadcasting agencie doing this. I feel we as a mute spectator can not allow this shameless, senseless act rip through our cultural heritage like this.

That is why some kind of positive action by everyone is required. We should contribute individually to discourage such ads. Companies are not bothered about the kind of ads, they simply want to increase the sale of their products by hook or crook. One way is as suggested by in my earlier post. Once the companies realize that their present ads are having negative effect on their sales, they will automatically remove those vulgar ads. So boycotting such products on a mass scale seems to be solution. Why not try it ourselves and propagate the idea widely? more

At least these few ads are direct. Who knows how many of them are using subliminal messages which were used for long time in Western world without people realizing that they are being duped. Google the word and you will be shocked. more

It is disgusting greed for money. They can show good ads also to promote their products. Best way is to boycott their products and buy alternate products. We can inform these companies on their complaints/contact email ids that we are not buying their products because of these vulgar ads. This is peaceful and Gandhian way of protest. Boycotting their products will hurt them where it matters. So pass on this message and each one of us can follow this and slowly it will spread. Tell the shopkeepers also that this company ads are vulgar, so we don't want to buy this product and request them to show other brands. Shopkeepers will tell company representatives and like this message will reach the companies. It is a slow process but sure to be effective. All, I have noticed two objectionable ads this morning 1. Manforce featuring S. Leon....what a nonsense how ca they show it between NEWS break . All family members watching 2.Dollar inner wear..very objectionable contents I am planning to contact both these companies and lets get started....all nonsense TV ads producers, and supporters here We come. more

Looking at the seriousness and urgency I have decided below steps 1. Created new circle by name âLets Protect our kidsâ. It was necessary as we needed a different platform to air our views. I will monitor TV ads and prepare list of objectionable content. Once we have the list, lets drop a written feedback to all those companies about our strong objections. Please help me prepare that list 3. Contact broadcast and censor agencies for their suggestion and ask them how we can stop such contents aired on TV/Radio/Movie 4. Take a legal opinion as I am very serious to take legal action against these movie producers, TV channels and Ad agencies. Letâs make them realize that they will have to stop this nonsense and we will not tolerate it any more. Please suggest..... more
