Vizag Gandhi Shri KSSastry is laid to rest for ever.It is an unexpected great loss to Gandhi Centre and Vizagites.A freedom fighter since his young school days, worked with Gandhi,Subhash Chandra Bose,Jayapraksh Narayan,PVG Raju,Bhattam Srirama Murty and a host of others,fought his best for the welfare of workers in several public and private sector units in Vizag and other coastal districts,founded Gandhi Centre and initiated and involved in innumerable number of social activities for the good of the Society.He always believed that Gandhian way and principles are the real remedy for all societal ills either in India or elsewhere.He tried to motivate and inspire people of all ages towards this ideology.Ultimately he could get a group of young and youthful volunteers of India Youth For Society who have been doing excellent service programs in Vizag and he made them as Associate Members of Gandhi Centre.It was these volunteers led by Mr.Appalareddy,Jagadish,. and Devi who looked after him during his last days taking every possible care at home and at the Hospital.Smt.Ramanamma Sastry mentioned to me number of times.Even Sastry garu told me number of times.Thanks IYFS.Let us rededicate to his ideals and pray for his soul to be placed in rest.Please attend the Condolence Meet at 4 pm on 16th December at BAA BAPU BHAVAN and inform about this meeting to our friends and well wishers of Shri Sastry Garu.Professor KVRamana,Hony.President of Gandhi Centre will preside over the Condolence Meeting.Professor V.Balamohandad,President ,Gandhi Centre. more
