VIP culture on Noida roads
Traffic blocked on noida expressway for some political leader to cross for more then 30 mins..still waiting, Long queue, people frustrated in AQI of 400 plus..We need a change in this policy …why are VIPs still stopping functioning of a nation and subjecting them to toxic air. more

VIP culture is on peak throughout the India, it is against the spirit of constitution of India, which treats each citizen equal. VIP culture is reflection of British Raj and Rajsahi. In a country where its father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi used to roam around streets and roads freely with masses, modern day politicians are so much afraid about their life that they need total isolation from public and traffic, and for that they are even justifying public traffic blockages on busy roads. Such people should not be in public service at all, whose movements are roads becomes a burden for general public. I was stopped in a dark midnight near Dhaula Kuwa, for 20-30 minutes by the Delhi Police, because some VIP was about to pass for Airport. Even I was asked to switch off my car head lights and cabin lights as if some enemy is going to have airstrikes on the city. I felt deeply humiliated with a feeling that even police administration is breaking basic principals of equality given by constitution of India daily, just to facilitate some VIP movements. Even flashing red beacons and sirens are back on Noida/NCR Roads, as many vehicles owners are installing these unauthorized VIP symbols on their vehicles. more

Toxic Air is not relevant to the topic. If the air is clean then would this ort of thing be accepted? Traffic for such VIP movement should not get stopped for over 5 minutes. Though unfortunately with our type of rules and regulations and so called DEMOCRACY,, we are forced to provide such a facility for VIPs. more
