Varanasi

Dear Narendrabhai,

Pranam !

I am a student of IIT (BHU) and passed out in 1982 after spending 5 years in this holy city. Today I live in Chennai. I am very nostalgic after reading your feelings about Varanasi and your plan for this city of great values. My heart always aches for the last 30 years whenever I see the decay of this city during my visits and none of the governments both in centre and state have bothered to restore this place to its old glory.

Whatever I am today is because of the learnings received from BHU. Pandit Madanmohan Malaviya's vision for BHU is " Sarva Vidya ki Rajdhani ".
Nodoubt the University has reached his vision and I am happy that you have started your journey for filing nomination today from BHU gate.

I am sure Lord Vishwanath will bless you with all success in the election as he has blessed all of us to prosper in our lives.

My very humble request to you with folded hands is please do not lose the focus on this great city once you assume power and get involved in bigger issues of national importance. I see you as the last hope for revival of Varanasi in the foreseeable future. Pl. form a task force with responsible persons under your guidance to turnaround this city.

I would be honoured to get an acknowledgement for this mail from you to my mail ID skkumar1960@hotmail.com

With best wishes

Jai Hind !

Your views correct. One must go to ahmd and see. For his adm capability, can you imagine a CM running a government and at the same time positioning himself for d post of PM. Hats off to this visionary called NaMo!! more
I am NRI . Basically my father/ grand father lived in UP. Still some of my relatives are in U.P. My father was in army & his last posting was in Gujarat . I completed my engineering from Gujarat. Now I am almost settled in Gujarat. I feel quite comfortable , quite safe in Gujarat & feel UP as very unsafe state even don't like to visit UP though I passed some part of my life there. Really Mr Modi is strict Administrator & so most corrupt politician do not like him and boycott him on the name of secularism. more
Am very sure all your wishes will come true on May 16, 2014! Best regardsSatyen From: support@localcirclesmail.com To: DHARIWAL_SH@HOTMAIL.COM Subject: New post "Varanasi" in [Modi for PM] Date: Thu, 24 Apr 2014 17:38:38 +0000 more

Dear Umesh and Nina , Very happy to receive your mails and your confidence levels. I passed out in 1982. What about you Nina ? Nice to see the similar sentiments on BHU and Varanasi . Umesh, are you also from BHU ? I have also seen many developments in Ahmedabad and rest of Gujarat as we have business interests there. I wish and pray that Modi gets elected from Varanasi and becomes PM. Best wishes S.Krishna Kumar (Chennai) more
