Truck bribes

Gujarat is the cleanest state with minimum bribes. MP border charges Rs1500/- per truck for entry and likewise for exit. Its daylight robbery. Multiple complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Its like nobody cares. With the new government in Maharashtra even the MP Mahashtra border has started charging Rs900/- per truck. Hope the Transport minister is listening. more

A period of few years is not enough to uproot the corruption named virus deep-rooted in the country for decades. Meanwhile, if we continue to deny paying bribes by every one and for everything, the harassment tactics would certainly become a history soon. more
This may be forwarded to Union Transport Minister more
This is very serious and must be taken up at all levels, as accepting this national problem is no solution, so request Local Circles to please take it up seriously at all levels to check such practices sooner and let the nation move forward
I think one of us, representing the trucking community must get hold of an AK-47/57/303/or a grenade and pay them in kind not cash.Anyone read a news about an ordinary man pouring petrol on a village office and set it on fire, in Kerala where he has been struggling to get his documents for the past 12 years because he refused to pay bribe. Now a friend of mine bought a can of petrol and walked in to the another village office and asked about the progress of the Khata of his own property. They did the job in 20 minutes. He walked back a Km and poured petrol in his scooter and rode away happily. Another way is to ask a friend to stand outside and you walk in and talk to the person concerned about progress of his application and if it is negative call your friend to come in and stand beside you and ask loudly "Hi ****** WHEN DID YOU RETURN FROM CHINA"? and cough for few seconds. Your job will be done and I am positive.
I am posting it with my name and not anonymously. more
