Travel agency not booking my tickets/ not refunding my money
We were looking for Shimla-Manali packages & got to know about Ride Travel Club through Facebook. We enquired for 5N/6D including flights. On 6th Feb they replied Rs.30712 including flight charges of Rs. 11712 and if booked on the same day there would be cash back of Rs. 2000. So at 11p.m asking our trip advisor if payment could be made at this time we made payment through Paytm(option given by them) & shared Transaction ID by 11:30p.m to our trip advisor to which they responded saying that booking department will call regarding tickets. On 7th Feb I repeatedly kept asking about tickets, they told that payment is not received and once it's received they will call back and mail confirmation. Also I asked if it would affect the package cost and they said no. By 7p.m I received message that payment has been received. But I didn't get any call regarding booking. On 8th Feb I also shared my husband number to call for booking if my number is not accessible. But we didn't receive any call, after enquiring our trip advisor they replied that will ask the booking department to call. The same thing continued till 9th Feb evening. Later when we received call they asked for extra money saying that the flight charges have increased and it comes around Rs.17700. We asked reason for the delay in our booking, but they were not ready to give valid reason. When we kept checking till 12th Feb the flight rates were around Rs.12500-14000 for the same flights they told. Later we asked them to alter our date of departure so that the flight charges could be adjusted to the money we had already paid(i.e Rs.11712) or to adjust the money as 50% advance to the land charges. But they were not flexible to any of the options. Also they were not ready to book at the websites we informed. Even after complaining on customer care there was no proper response. And the manager was very rude and not ready to take any responsibility to solve the inconvenience caused because of their company. more
