TRAI gives a boost to Net Neurtality, honors citizen views

As some of you may have already read, yesterday TRAI came out with its recomendations on net neutrality which were in line with our 2016 submission to TRAI. In 2017, TRAI had banned FreeBasics after a large majority of citizens via LocalCircles poll demanded a level playing field.

http://www.indiatimes.com/news/india/net-neutrality-gets-thumbs-up-from-indians-81-vote-against-free-basics-by-facebook-in-survey-249210.html

The LocalCircles survey were directly shared with TRAI Chairman RS Sharma.

This is great news for Indian start ups and entrepreneurs who deserve a level playing field to create internet enabled products and services.

If you participated in the polls and discussions on the subject, many thanks. more

It is good to hear such news more
Thanks to Local Circle Manager and TRAI for recommendation to implement Net Neutrality. How easy it is to implement "Ease of Doing Business in India", it will be appreciated if TRAI could outline all these aspects for consumers' consumption lest they make hue and cry for delays and hurdles. more
