Below are all the key Noida traffic issues reported by you all. Kindly review them and help identify one or more actions that each one of you can take as a citizen to help address them.
In a separate post, we will discuss what actions Noida Traffic Police must take to address them.
If we all commit to not violating traffic laws ourselves, we can set a great example for the ignorant and together citizens-administration can address these issues.

Traffic Issues in Noida - Citizen Generated List
1. People drive on the wrong side in front of the Botanical Garden metro station and in front of the GIP mall
2. In sector 93, people driving out of Silver city and Express View apartments are very often driving on the wrong side
3. One can find many people driving on the wrong side opposite the SRS shop in sector 62, causing traffic jams
4. On the Mahamaya bridge 6pm onwards, the two wheelers come on the bridge from the wrong side and jump the divider to drive on the wrong side going towards Delhi
5. You find a lot of people driving on the wrong side in Atta Market
6. People from Sector - 76 Noida going towards Sector 62 are forced to drive on wrong side as there are no U-turns provided. Some big accident is waiting to happen here
7. We see vehicles coming from wrong side on the flyover connecting sector 93 to sector 132
8. Some vehicles including school buses/Ambulances take wrong side to enter Sigma IV, forgetting the availability of the correct way just 200 meters ahead from gol chakkar
9. People drive on wrong side on the road between sector 50 and sector 51. Many of them drive towards Kendriya Vihar from sector 50 on the wrong side
10. At Noida City Centre metro station, the autos park wherever they feel like blocking the road and thereby defeating the very purpose of making the underpass
11. The barrier which was placed outside Botanical Garden metro station is now missing and private bus operators/UP state Buses/ DTC buses entre on right hand side lane and holds the traffic for no reasons
12. In spite of Authorized Parking space, parking on the road in front of market of Sector-110 create traffic jam specially in the evenings
13. Traffic signal jumping by shared autos is a big problem which creates chaotic situations in sector 62 near Amar Ujala office and CSC office
14. The red light at Sector 16 (Naya Bans intersection) never works causing traffic jams there is never any traffic policeman
15. Very bad situation near Chhalera going to Underpass for 37 crossing. There are many Vehicles parked on the road for repairs, The Vehicles stop at the Entry point of Underpass for taking the Passengers, thereby making the Traffic Jams. It is almost 20 days over, there does not seems to be any improvement
16. Near 41 Market there is lot of Wrong side driving is taking place when vehicle take a u Turn in the reverse Direction
17. One way traffic on Udyog Marg; This measure forces all commuters to take the by lanes of sector 1 join the Vijayant Thapar marg from BITS T junction and cross over at the Traffic lights to go towards Delhi. This causes big jams. more

I want to add a few more issues in addition to those that have been flagged - 1. In the Naya Bans area from the red light upto the cut in the central verge almost opposite Nirulas the cars are parked in a hap hazard manner blocking most of the lanes and leaving only one lane for the moving traffic. Coupled with a non-functional red light and no traffic policeman manning the stretch, it leads to congestion of traffic in the area. 2. The buses and autos at sector 15 metro station stop in the middle of the road leading to congestion. the traffic should be disciplined and the authorities can think of diverting this traffic via the service lanes instead of allowing it on the main road. 3. While the Udyog Marg is now one way, one finds vehicles specially taxis and autos and shared e-rickshaws coming the wrong way causing congestion and posing a danger to the other vehicles. No traffic police is posted on the stretch to check this menace and book the offenders. more

I happened to notice hoardings among others of BJP and HINDU YUVA VAHINI all over the crossings in Noida. At some place I found it obstructing the traffic lights also. Are these hoardings permitted? If not then why doesnt Noida Authority have them removed? It gives a very shabby look of Noida. Something shd be done about it. more

Schools not complying are – DPS Greater Noida, DPS 30 Noida, Sector 126, Amity International School Sector 44, Lotus Valley International, Vishwa Bharati Public School, Sector 28, Bal Bharati Public School Sector 21, Khaitan Public School Sector 40 and Ram-Eesh International Greater Noida DM Noida should show zero tolerance here and have state govt issue them a notice of NOC cancellation for march 2018. That will give parents time to move their children to other schools. more
