Traffic hazard on DND
Want to highlight about the bedlam that has been created by MCD toll collection staff on the DND road while going from Noida to Delhi. Their agents are standing in the middle of the road, covering almost all the lanes and causing 200-300 meter long jam everyday. This causes great inconvenience and time loss. Requesting Honorable DM and SSP to take some remedial measures on priority. Thanking in advance. more

I am surprised that both Noida and Delhi government have allowed this mess for so long. The situation gets worse at night when the trucks are allowed to enter Delhi. Delhi goverment should scrap this toll as it results in some small petty collection for the city, but in terms of environmental harm, due to burning of fossil fue,l can not be calculated. Besides resulting in avoidable, man made inconvenience to the average commuter. Can we hope for improvement from the new U.P. goverment and administrators? more

Already Govt. of India is working in this direction where the toll will be automatically deducted from the account of transporter on crossing the toll gates. i understand that besides the toll charges municipal tax/toll is also included .As a step to take it further, commercial vehicles which will shall be manufactured ( from - likely 1st of july) have been asked to be provided with tags ( for automatic deduction of Toll charges ) which shall help in faster movement of vehicles across tolls and thereby saving fuel costs. more

In fact this entrance toll collected by MCD Delhi not by NOIDA. My suggestion it should be eliminated completely. If you see the amount of money collected and deposited to government after deduction of all salaries and other expenses it won't be viable at all. I personally feel its another way of corruption in the Society. I suggest the CAG should take the audit of such collection and also calculate the amount of wastage of fuel burnt due to traffic jam and time loss of people. I am sure all the responsible authorise if do it wisely definitely will be in favour of eliminating it. more

The issue is that owners of commercial vehicles sometimes try to enter Delhi without paying MCD toll..... so these people stand covering all the lanes.so something wrong on commercial vehicle owners part too...... those who try to avoid MCD toll more

why cant they have this collection centre/booth at the toll gate itself. There can be 1/2 dedicated lines for commercial vehicles to avoid the bottleneck on DND.. more
