Tough Choice:

I would like to remind the govt about all its election promises. That they would revive the gas fired plants, all stalled power sector will be revived.Infrastructure will get a big boost. The mess in power sector will be cleared.100 smart cities.Tax reforms, labour reforms.
But after 1 months we know its too early but a roadmap timeframe needs to be set.
Mess in the power sector is still there. How the government release the subsidy burden?
Restructuring of SEB are balanced.Stalled projects of 21 trillion rupees are not taking off.
Auction of coal mines are not taking off.CIL is in a mess.Disinvestment target needs to be met..
UPA anti industry law like Land Acquisition Act need to be revamped.
The government has to walk the talk.
The government has 282 seats.
If the government does not take hard deecision,do what UPA then it is a waste.
Ache Din Will Not Come.

Why was gas pricing deferred? Please take hard decisions.Dont take populist measures... more

NDA and BJP have a majority. Parliamenterians ..... are Lawmakers. Process has to be followed. Team members have to study the details, pros & cons of the exisiting system, the loop holes, new formulation and laws have to be vetted by experts, reviewed properly and then presented to the leader, leader than along with his experts have to give a presentation, many Qs have to be replied, then incorporated with charts and projections for the time frame assumed, again presented to PM. PM on acceptance again goes through the house and given to the President who endorses same. Well above was an effort to give the process ...... which takes time ..... 100 days max. more

I accept. But look at the amount of reforms it needs to carry out..Dont you think people are angry and frustrated.Needs to push ahead a little faster.Specially difficult reforms like land, tax & labour.I mean it has 283 seats in LS.It does not need to be affraid about anything.Strong reforms will give a strong signal to industry. more
Yes , dear sir, To start the processes and set the ball rolling was the priorioty. Top level bureaucracy has been told , by example , to work hard and give results. Hatheli par sarson nahin ugayi jaati. Koshish karne se mehnat bekar ho jaati hai. In short , A good enough beginning. more
