There's a lot of buzz now a days about waves, tides, tsunamis. Every political party wants to show (using media) that there is their 'wave' in the country. The basic understanding of mass psychology which goes into this is that most people like to flow with the tide. Not many like to stand against it.
The argument which is given by these parties is that "There is a wave of their leader, so ppl shud vote fr them. Why waste ur vote fr others who are already losing".
These parties are psychologically shaping the views of the ppl. They are making ppl think, what they want them to think.
But this is not the way any sensible, emotionally mature (intelligent) person should think.
Rather think this way "That even if we assume that their is a 'wave' (which is not in the first place) why should we waste our vote by giving it to a person who is already winning. How does it makes a difference whether a person wins by 1 vote or 1000 votes. Rather give it to a person who is not claiming for any wave.
And if ppl really understand then the real question is never of any 'wave'. Whether a wave is there or not shouldn't make any difference.
The real question is of integrity....the real question is of non-corrupt background....The real question is of sincerity...The real question is of emotional maturity (intelligence)...

What to expect from such ppl. They are all only fooling ppl as they have been doing since ages.
So, don't just vote but vote "consciously".

Buying and selling votes before elections and horse-trading of seats after elections shows the immaturity of the electorate and callousness of the party and their leaders as well as the signs of a weak democracy, inefficient EC, and useless Government. more

Emotinal maturity, sincerity, integrity are absolutely meaningless where votes r been puchased., sold in the Mandi. Next, mostly intellectual people are very indiffrent to this dicy system. Still we believe ppl r showing proactive ness in many ways.lets hope for d best. more
