I would like to inform all the consumers that Grahak sahayak Gurgaon with representatives from all sectors as it's members, had visited Sushma Swaraj, when she was the railway minister and had the train to Jammu and Vishnu Devi halted at Gurgaon. Dear Mr Virmani and Mr Jain. No offence meant. I read your reply to a query and replied in general so that there was no ambiguity. With experience of consumer courts, which have degenerated to function like any civil courts, the requirements of speedy justice has taken a back seat. Even though we represent a consumer organisation, we would not recommend a consumer to proceed to one. Regarding the avenues, I have prepared the same into one write up detailing each. However can someone explain to me, step wise how to attach the same in this reply. I could send it separately by email if you provide the same.Col H N HHanda more

Dear Mr. Hari Handa Ji, Thanks for your comments. If you kindly go through the post, I have clearly stated that filing a case with consumer forum should be taken as a last option. Consumers are always advised to explore other channels before they consider filing a case with consumer forum. In fact this was also amply clarified to Shri Dinesh Jain on his comment. The template was posted as some of the friends were seeking through telephonic discussion. Nevertheless, I totally agree with you on the subject. Regards more

This is useful, Shri Hari Panda. You say, "the government has created many avenues for redressal". It would be further useful if you could please elaborate this and provide info about the other avenues. more
