Tax Scrutiny Exemption for Startups

Can the knowledable people in this group share what kind of benefits has the Govt given to startups under startup india mission when it comes to relief from income and gst tax inspectors, scrutinies, etc. I know we had lobbied for relief on angel tax and Govt promised in budget that startups when they take investment at a premium will not get notices. Is there more? more

DrBest Pharma has pledged to give all life saving drugs @ 10-20% cost but the Pharma’s won’t allow & boycot DrBest & other such startups. more
It is better to incorporate an "escalation cause" in the contract so that the value of the supplies/services rendered may be calculated as per the exchange rate existing at the time of quoting, plus a variable amount depending on the change (positive or negative) in the exchange rate at the time of execution of the job. This will be fair and square for both the parties. more
If a Start-Up is compliant with law, it has nothing to fear - if it is NOT, it can live in perennial fear of Inspectors of all shapes and sizes. The law is clear - the specifics of how and on what Investment Angel Tax applies is clearly stated. The onus is on the recipient Company to prove that the Investment qualifies for the exemption. If it has not done the documentation right or the Investor does not qualify, then why blame the Govt. more
No such exemption was ever given and will be granted in near future and if granted it will be a great crime against honest tax payers. If given, Indians will indulge in black to white start up and main purpose shall be lost. many good things are not being implemented as our babus and brokers will manipulate and misuse teh entire schemes. more
Under income tax for investment in start ups the classification of long term capital gains holding period is 2 years and not 3 years. more
