Tax Filing dates for companies

Can the current deadline of tax filing date of sept 30th be extended to Nov 30th.

Companies as well as proprietorship business are under lots of stress most behind on cash flow and revenue/income.

If the Govt can allow them to focus on business till diwali it will be nice. IT returns can be filed after diwali in nov.

Govt listens to localcircles. They should escalate this if majority agrees. more

Sorry to say that ,
No use for common and small businesses peoples , this may use only those are personally close to bank managers. more
In my personal opinion the IT Returns by individuals and companies, both, should be filed within three months, which means by 30 June. The companies do take longer time to fulfill their responsibility towards employees and therefore, individuals submission of ITR is delayed.

Employers responsibility towards employees must be cleared by April end.

Responsibility towards contractors/suppliers must be completed by May end allowing them one month time to submit their ITR.

With the above schedule all could submit ITR by 30 June of AY.

Our behaviour of giving the last priority to ITR submission is not justified. Unnecessarily we keep ourselves engaged in the next financial year.

Online Submission of all ITR should be allowed and no hard copy submission with physical interaction. IT Department can always raise the queries if they so desire.

Personally I am not in a position to support the request. I wanted to submit my ITR in April but could not do so because the Payers have not provided the necessary documents in regard to TDS. Payers are allowed to deposit the TDS by 30 June and this itself delays the process. Any tax deducted at source should have been deposited with Income Tax Department within 15 days of deductions made. I fail to understand as to why the IT Department has provided such a long time for various actions. more
Yes Tax filing dates to be extended for 30 November
