tackling corruption
i have brought to the notice of the notice of the pmo a few instances of corruption in the real esate sector where the nexus between the builder,client and the income tax department is helping assesses to avoid capital gains tax.no reply from the pmo.
regarding the corruption in gst refund,have written to both the pmo as well as gst commissioner.waiting for response..
one of the readers has asked as to how gujarat has tackled this..as if there is no corruption in gujarat..let me tell you that we have personal experience of being compelled to pay speed money to government officials in gujarat ..so gujarat is no better.. more

What is stated is TRUE to almost all the States, Depts ad Cities and Towns and in all levels - except the exceptions. more

Any proceedings involving direct paper work due to circular etc always ends in corrupt practice and one of the solution is to fully make it digital and through system and e grievance procedure without involving visit to office.All such old procedures should be scarpped more

With due respect to all, I would like to say no PM can finish the corrupt practices unless and until the political corruption is ended and unfortunately our existing PM has finished RTI itself instead of corruption. As far as Real Estate sector is concerned, the corruption take place at all places whether it is Registrar office, Corporations, Estate Offices and is mainly due to huge gap between Circle Rates and Market Rates and high incidences of stamp duty and taxation rates. Transparency is another issue. Those who are hoping with BJP Government, let me give an example of Haryana which is ruled by BJP Govt. The computerisation of RTOs is only limited to submit application form for RC, Driving Licence, renewal of DL etc but for the payment, one has to go to the office for depositing fee and here is the corruption at least in Haryana. The BJP politicians are least concerned about such practices as basically everyone has target for election funds. more

MR DASARATHY: NOBODY WILL ASSERT THAT "GUJARAT DID NOT HAVE OR DOES NOT HAVE" CORRUPTION..!!.. THE CORRUPTION COMES OUT IF "JOB DOES NOT GET DONE WITHIN THE TIME SPAN"..!!.. IN TODAY'S GUJARAT THERE OIS CORRUPTION IN GST ASSESSMENTS, REFUNDS ETC ETC BUT JOB GETS COMPLETED SMOOTHLY, SPECIALLY SINCE - TRADE AND COMMERCE IS DONE IN GUJARAT, MOSTLY ON "PARCHA" BASIS (paper slips.!.). TRADERS IN GUJARAT HAVE NOW FOUND OUT A BASIS FOR 'SMOOTH CONDUCT OF BUSINESS' (UNDER GST) WITHOUT STOPPAGE. more
