'Taat pe makhmal ka peband'
Armed with Rx for new glasses, this lady tried several spectacle frames in varied colours, designs and materials…but ultimately declared “I won’t part with my old frame (honestly it wasn’t in good shape!), but as far as lenses are concerned, I will go for the best; the one currently being advertised on TV by a well known company”.
I couldn’t disagree, as it’s basically the lenses whose quality matters more than the frame.
However, it was like `taat pe makhmal ka peband’, but was it also not like `Krishna-Sudama milan’! more

Agreed that the lenses quality is very important, but the frame is also important, not only for the aesthetics but it is the frame which keeps the lens in the correct position so that the line of vision is in the center of the lens, else the image formed on the retina is not correct. more

Everything is so costly these days...but for those who can't afford there is an economic rage of spectacle frames! more
