Suggestions of AAP and its supporters

I have following two suggestions for your kind consideration
1. There should be strict regulations on adjournments by Judges on flimsy grounds and heavy penalty should
be imposed by Judge on defaulting party. Number adjournments allowed should be restricted and Judges giving frequent adjournments should be identified.
2. I would like to propose names of Vinod Rai, Ashok Khemka, Durga Shakti Nagpal for panel of Lokpal and Lokayukts since these are the people who know how corruption takes place using Government machinery. more

I agree with the suggestions made by our friends to cleanse the system . It is seen each pending case in our courts dragged for years and justice is denied to the effective party . There is an urgent need to fix up the responsibility of contesting parties specially defense to curb the adjournments on flimsy grounds . The judges should be empowered to penalize the parties for unnecessary adjournments and adjounments be given on merits . . more
one more name I would suggest for Lokayukta or Lokpal would be Mr. Arun Bhatia retd. IAS of Maharastra cadre who has a record of sorts comparable Mr. Ashok Khemka IAS of Haryana cadre in the number of transfers during his period. J.C.Jain email:jcjain@rediffmail.com more
Mediation centres are not functioning the way they were expected to do. They are behaving like extortion centre. The idea of the mediation centre is to create an environment conducive to discussion. They are expected to be neutral. However, they start mediation in such a way that the party stands feeling extorted or else they may pressurise to engage their spouses as their lawyer. The motive of the cases being reported seems to be only money extortion. By the way a person coming from 3000 kms away has not been heard for more than 15 months due to frequent leaves and adjournment. more
The average time required by any court in India to settle a case is more than five years hence and more than three Judges change by that time in many minor offences cases the case can be settled in few days those so there should be continuous hearing and in consumer cases those can be settled through mediation hence mediation centres can be opened more
I agree that there is a tendency for adjournments. It will be surprising if someone is suspecting judge going on leave to avoid opposite party to hear who has been asked to appear from a distant place (as much as 3000 kms) and the complainant had desire to frustrate the accused so as to succumb to the pressure of extortion. There have been several other instances to collaborate on such suspicion. more
