Suggestion for Land Acquisition Act
A lot is happening in the protest of Land acquisition Act. Despite knowing its benefits, every politician and leader is seeing it an opportunity to be popular among mass by protesting it, to show that they are the well wisher of farmers.
The farmers are being told that Government is going to acquire their land without their consent by passing this bill. Most of the farmers do not know the plus points of the bill so they are being misguided by the opposition leaders. Therefore I would like to suggest the following:
1. As the bill is connected directly to the farmers land, the need and benefits of the bill should be communicated to the maximum public through TV advertisements, Social media, Radio Mann ki Baat, Newspapers and through party workers as done in case of elections.
2. Then the farmers should be asked to give the voluntarily consent of approval for their land acquisition for development purposes. I am sure most of the farmers will register for that, considering the four times market value and other benefits.
3. After that, The Govt. and the Businessmen will have the data of available land for the planning of the development projects. The voluntarily consent of approval for the land acquisition should be a continuous process. I am sure within a time of few months every area will be having more than 80% volunteers. The 20 % left out areas can be acquired by Govt. as per the existing Land Acquisition Act for development projects.
This is going to be a win-win situation for all. more

Allow the farmers to change land use from agriculture to industrial / residential and only acquire land for roads , public use . more

But 2 me I would rather request God to make Adanis/Ambanis better sense prevail, then Modi will automatically stop snatching poor farmers(producing 3 crops a year) farm land through ordinance. If we have the honesty of purpose,i.e. the govt is really concerned for the common man of the area n intends to create infrastructure like markets to sell produce,the cold storage to save their produce from going wasted,industry to add value to their produce n also thereby provide employment,to construct dwelling units for the local people, the rail/roads to reach the nearby cities/markets,the colleges,universities n hospitals for the benefit of nearby people, Farmers are ever ready not only to sell their land, but even to donate their land free of any charge for such good causes. more
