stray dogs

It is a pity that we in india and all the states there are larger population of stray dogs which are at times dangerous to the human beings. They keep loitering all the time and at times pounce over the person and bit him. Why is the municipal committess in all the states catch them and keep them in the proper placeer thes. They shit and urinate on the roads, car tyres and also inside the pathways of the gardens. The owners allow them to urinate, paiesss stools intentially all over the places
unmindful of spreading diseases and get stuck under the shoes of the passers by. They should be immediately taken away from the colonies and keep them in a more healthy atmosphere and municipal committes should look after them. more

MR. SUBHASH CHOPRA, I FULLY AGREE WITH YOUR POINTS, AND WE MUST TAKE THE NECESSARY ACTION ASAP. more
And it is the attitude of ppl like u which is also a problem. Always calling them a 'menace' and wanting to get 'rid' of them. This is just not the way. Be kind. Do your bit also in helping with this issue. The streets are their homes. Plz understand. more
You dont see stray dogs in other countries because they are either shot or put to sleep!!!! That is illegal in our countries!! We are against relocation not sterilisation. Relocating and diaplacing stray dogs is a crime and against the law. Things dont happen over night. It will take time to control their populations and for that we all must take part in getting the strays in our colonies sterilized and and vaccinated. more
Mr Chopra has rightly pointed out the problem and it has remained unsolved because of many animal activist , they don't allow them to catch , I have myself faced with this type of problem in Delhi. I have never seen any stray dogs in USA, Australia, UK, Singapore , China then why we have in India. They are not required in the Indian society. more
