Stray dog mauls to death 7 year old in Ghaziabad

I was horrified to read the news of a 7 year old child mauled to death yesterday in Ghaziabad. Will this news just die out without any change coming about. The newspapers and just about no one is enraged possibly because he was the son of daily wage labourers. Television has completely blacked out the news as if it is of no consequence.

What has happened today due to exponential increase in the dog population will happen many times over in the days to come as the dog population keeps shooting up due to the total protection they enjoy.

This possibly could happen to our children and grand children if we let the dog lovers carry on their present ridiculous policies. The petition has just got 170 supporters. To have any impact on the politicians it will need many times more supporters.

Please ask your friends to support this petition at http://goo.gl/OoKScX to stop such horrific incidents in future. more

It is nice to be an animal lover. However that does not mean that animals shall have more rights than the law abiding Citizens. Let us provide proper habitat to animals rather than feeding stray dogs and monkeys in our cities. more
i think issue is how both of you can contribute to betterment of society in your unique way, animal lovers must realize that animals should not b allowed to roam as stray animals. they can be adapted by animal lovers as pets and taken care at their own homes and follow rules of civilized society. more
And Look Buddy..I think I made the wrong choice commenting on your post..I feel sad for the boy and his family..And I sincerely think there was something more to it than just a death..maybe a murder by someone and them blaming the ones who can't speak...Secondly..I wont be commenting further since I understand the difference between wasting time and investing time if not the difference between a specia and a race..I would love to invest my time into talking to someone who understands and not waste it on someone who is self centered and cruel...Peace out...You can make the last argument to satisfy your ego here.. Tada! more
Racism consists of both prejudice and discrimination based in social perceptions of biological differences between peoples. Now...it might be inter-species only...but you discriminate and that makes you racist..I wish you knew better things than the differences between a race and a specie. That way you actually would have had the chance of changing this world more
